Dear Queen Anne’s County Resident:

Thank You for electing me to my post as a Queen Anne’s County Commissioner. I hope to earn your help and support as I move forward in serving you.
As you may know, I am a lifelong resident of Queen Anne’s County, and a product of the Queen Anne’s County school system. I sincerely hope to spend the rest of my life in this wonderful community. However, I am deeply concerned that future generations of Queen Anne’s County citizens will not be able to enjoy this beautiful place, if we do start making some tough choices.
As stated prior to my election, my priorities include:
Growth - The Queen Anne’s County Commission should require responsible growth and protect open spaces. We need to insure that developers pay for adequate facilities, and do not create traffic or environmental nightmares.
Education - The Queen Anne’s County Commission needs to work to reduce class sizes, modernize facilities, provide more training and opportunities for teachers, and pay good salaries to attract and retain the top teachers in Maryland.
Public Safety - The Queen Anne’s County Commission needs to give the Sheriff’s Department the tools to fight crime and our growing drug problem, we need to attract and keep highly trained and skilled local officers. Queen Anne’s County must support, promote, and work with one of its strongest resources, its volunteer firefighters.
